» Bar Raval

I was given a list of restaurants that were classified as New & Notable in Toronto and after reading through the descriptions for each restaurant, I ultimately chose Bar Raval.

"With its intimate atmosphere and Gaudi-esque wooden undulations, Grant van Gameren's new standing-room only Spanish pinchos bar feels like a quick trip to Barcelona"

When we first got there around 8 pm, we were told that the wait would be around 2 hours so they told to leave our name and number and we would get a call when there was space inside. We decided to walk down College St to check out Snakes and Lattes. This place was packed as well! Too bad we couldn't go in to play some board games to kill time. We continued walking and ended up at Sneaky Dee's where we had drinks and talked for a good few hours

We finally got a call and headed into the bar. The bar was full, the atmosphere was really nice, and the food was delish!!
