» Cherry Picking

While we were heading down to Niagara Falls, we decided that we wanted to go cherry picking. We got off at Fruitland and searched around the area for a PYO cherry farm. We spent a good few hours picking cherries and had lots of fun!

» High Park Cherry Blossoms

I've heard about the cherry blossoms at High Park for many years but didn't get the chance to go until this year. There were many people at the park today to see the cherry blossoms. We came a little too late since the blossoms already turned white. If we had come to High Park last week, the blossoms would have been pink. But it was still very beautiful nonetheless

I went to lunch with my good friend whom I've known for about 8 years now. I recently found out that he is expecting a baby with his fiance so I knew I had to buy them a gift for their baby. So excited for them! Bolognese "Fresh fettuccine, classic Northern Italian meat sauce, lemon herbed ricotta" Baked Carbonara "Parmesan cream sauce, smoked bacon, scallions, garlic, black pepper, soft poached egg, fresh penne" Pesto Pollo "Fresh fettuccine, sautéed chicken, baby spinach, semi sun-dried tomatoes, basil pesto cream sauce"

At Moxie's in Vaughan for dinner tonight! Stella Raspberry Kiwi Crush Margarita "Kiwi and raspberry purees, Smirnoff raspberry vodka and lime slush" Mosaic Dip "Warm, with Quebec goat cheese, mushrooms & fresh tomatoes + naan bread" Honey Roasted Garlic Top Sirloin Top Sirloin + Jumbo Prawns When it was time for dessert, we ordered the Tasting Trio. If I had to choose my favourite one out of those three...it would have to be the white chocolate brownie. Oh so good! Tasting Trio "mini versions of our white chocolate brownie, chocolate espresso mousse & sticky toffee pudding served with house-baked chocolate biscotti & french vanilla ice cream"
