It's the first week back to school. For lunch, we went to Caplansky's Delicatessen on College St since my friend had eaten here before and this place was featured on You Gotta Eat Here. I had a smoked meat deli sandwich and it was indeed delicious!

I went to lunch with my good friend whom I've known for about 8 years now. I recently found out that he is expecting a baby with his fiance so I knew I had to buy them a gift for their baby. So excited for them! Bolognese "Fresh fettuccine, classic Northern Italian meat sauce, lemon herbed ricotta" Baked Carbonara "Parmesan cream sauce, smoked bacon, scallions, garlic, black pepper, soft poached egg, fresh penne" Pesto Pollo "Fresh fettuccine, sautéed chicken, baby spinach, semi sun-dried tomatoes, basil pesto cream sauce"

» High Park Cherry Blossoms

I've heard about the cherry blossoms at High Park for many years but didn't get the chance to go until this year. There were many people at the park today to see the cherry blossoms. We came a little too late since the blossoms already turned white. If we had come to High Park last week, the blossoms would have been pink. But it was still very beautiful nonetheless

After the Christmas Market, we drove to the Eaton Centre to eat dinner at Joeys. Thanks for celebrating my birthday! Szechuan Edamame "wok tossed with chilies, garlic, soy sauce" Lobster Grilled Cheese "brie & cheddar, cocktail sauce" Ravioli with Sautéed Prawns "spinach & artichoke ravioli, crispy prosciutto, tomato & capers" Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo "garlic, cream, nutmeg, arugula, shaved Grana Padano" Steak & Sushi "Japanese surf & turf, tataki style, CAB PRIME steak, ponzu sauce, rainbow roll" Protein Style Burger "hand pressed burger with all the groceries, wrapped in lettuce" Hot Wings "Frank's hot sauce, creamy blue cheese dip" Molten Lava Chocolate Soufflé "fresh raspberries, vanilla bean ice cream" While reading reviews for Joeys online, a lot of people said how long the walk to the bathroom is.....
