» Red Robin // Jack Astor's

Our plan today was to spend the day wandering around Buffalo New York. We left the house around 10 am and luckily, the line at the border wasn't long at all. Since we didn't eat breakfast yet, we were super hungry when we crossed the border and we were on a mission to find some food

We wanted to eat at a restaurant that we didn't have back here in Toronto, and so that's how we came up with the idea of eating at Red Robin's in Buffalo. This was our second time eating at Red Robin's...our first time eating at Red Robin’s was in 2007 in California!

Freckled Lemonade
"A blend of sweet strawberries and tangy Minute Maid lemonade"

Sauteed ‘Shroom Burger
(with sweet potato fries)
"A mushroom lover’s dream come true! Loaded with fresh, plump, sauteed mushrooms a hint of garlic Parmesan spread and topped with melted Swiss for that extra Yummm"

Prime Chophouse Burger

"Distinguished and delicious, this juicy burger is layeredwith horseradish-sautéed mushrooms, gourmet steak sauce, Provolone cheese and piled high with crispy onion straws. Served on an onion bun with creamy Country Dijon  Sauce"

After we enjoyed our lunch, we headed off to the Fashion Outlet Mall in Niagara Falls NY. We finished shopping quite early so we decided to come back to Vaughan to eat dinner at Jack Astor's. We were still full from our lunch at Red Robin's so we only ordered drinks and appetizers

Stella x 2 & Mango Berry Twister
"Frozen mango and raspberry twisted together and topped with Wild Vines Blackberry Merlot"
Lobster and Crab Dip
"Lobster, crabmeat. cream cheese, mushrooms, peppers and onions oven-baked until bubbling. Served with nacho chips and warm pita bread triangles"
